Tracy's Web Design

A little about me...

Hello! I'm Tracy Norris. I own Tracy's Web Design and am based in Phoenix, Arizona. My goal has always been to help the small business owner succeed in establishing their place on the web - offering affordable prices and a trustworthy partnership. I'm a passionate person about quality, design, and efficiency with a knack for organization and utmost integrity and I translate these traits into my web development. I strongly adhere to the KISS method (Keep It Simple Stupid) and also that ultimately great content surpases great design any day. That's hard for me to say, but it's the content that keeps users coming back for more, not the way the site looks.

I specialize in information architecture, search engine optimization (SEO), and user interface design brought together through refined and professional graphic design. I'm a bit "old school" in that I mostly code by hand as opposed to using a GUI, but I think that gives me more flexibility and a greater knowledge of the code and it's capabilities. My experience in various code languages, tools, and platforms give me a wide range of options to pick and choose from to best suit my customer's needs and budgets.

I build lasting relationships with my customers and I have supported many sites for several years. They rely on my judgement to help them convey their business goals through their site and trust that I can guide them into good decisions, often times leaving me to do what I think is best. And that's a trust I don't take lightly.

My day job keeps me pretty busy, as does my 2-year old daughter, so I am selective about the projects I choose to undertake. But please don't hesitate to contact me for any inquiries. Also, I recently started a web design blog where I can start logging my thoughts on web design as well as deliver information that people new to the web design process can learn from, so check that out when you get a chance.

For my future, I am hoping to further develop my skills in both code and graphic design and finish out my bachelor degree in either Art, Computer Science, or both! As time allows... I am looking forward to new opportunities and a chance for growth.
